Think that all the smartwatches that are currently available in the market are all too expensive? Alcatel thinks so too, which is why they have just teased their first ever smartwatch called “Watch”, and it will be available “at a fraction of the cost of competitors”.
To be unveiled at the show floors of CES 2015, the Alcatel Watch features a rounded face that looks similar to the Moto 360, but looks and feels more like a traditional watch. Like the typical smartwatches, users can switch the straps so whether they prefer a sporty look or a formal look, there will be a strap for that – at least, that’s what the picture above suggests.
Unfortunately, details about the Watch is scarce at the moment, Alcatel did not mention any specs but they did say that the Watch can connect to Android smartphones, and will have all the usual smartwatch features like track your daily activities, lets you control your music, take photos and receive notifications.
CES 2015 will start tomorrow, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that things are as good as it looks.
