The annual International CES is here once again and as usual, plenty of manufacturers have begin to announce their first wave of products for consumers to get their hands on very soon. Some have even started even before the trade show kick off on 6 January.
One of such company is Alcatel OneTouch who has announced the brand new PIXI 3 smartphone which apparently supports Android, Firefox OS, and Windows Phone.
However, the company didn’t elaborate further on what it mean by “support”. We believe that what Alcatel OneTouch actually meant is that consumers are able to choose which OS that they like to have in their PIXI , judging from the fact that each OS has its own set of navigational buttons.
The new device apparently will also be made available in four different sizes: 3.5″, 4″, 4.5″, and 5″. The 3.5″ model will only comes with 3G support while the others are able to support LTE. In its announcement, Alcatel OneTouch stated that PIXI 3 merges together LTE and affordability but somehow didn’t mention the device’s actual price which made that statement unproven at the moment.
Apart from the price, there are still plenty of other details regarding the device are still missing at the moment. Guess we have to wait till the CES show floor is open before we able to learn more about Alcatel OneTouch new OS-agnostic smartphone.
