With just over a week to go before Samsung’s official Unpacked event, where the company is expected to unveil its latest Galaxy Note smartphone and a larger variant of the Galaxy S6 edge, what appears to be official press renders have leaked out, courtesy of @evleaks, confirming their designs as well as some finer details.
Samsung is holding its Note 5 unveil several weeks ahead of its traditional timeframe, as it bids to gain some marketing momentum before Apple unveils the iPhone 6S. There’s been a steady stream of rumours and leaks about Samsung’s two new devices in recent weeks, and these renders appear to confirm the design of both the Galaxy Note 5 and S6 edge+.
Rains->Pours. Samsung Noble (SM-N920/self-reported): Exynos 7420 SoC (4×2.1GHz+4×1.5GHz), 5.66" 2560×1440, 4GB/32GB, 16MP/5MP, 5.1.1, no SD.

The Note 5 looks to be a larger version of the Galaxy S6, sporting exceptionally thin bezels and of course, the S Pen. Hardware wise, it is also highly likely that the previous rumours of the Note 5’s specs are true, including 4GB of RAM, 32GB of non-expandable storage and a 5.7-inch 2K Super AMOLED display, and Android 5.1.1 out of the box.
@dreyesi design, the back of the device has an edge like feel to it and the pen pops out when you press on it.

Interestingly, a quick check through the replies on the @evleaks tweet also reveals an interesting feature on the Note 5’s S Pen: it apparently has an eject feature, similar to a laptop’s “press to eject” on SD card slots. Besides that, there’s also a new “live stream” camera mode that’s similar to Periscope. However, these features were not posted by @evleaks, which means they may not be true.
As for the Galaxy S6 edge+, our sources at Samsung also indicate that Samsung is working on adding new features for the Edge Screen. The company’s engineers are apparently attempting to add more functionality, giving the more reasons for users to opt for the Edge Screen – though no specifics were mentioned.
