Huawei has officially launched its latest flagship – Huawei P8, at the on-going CommunicAsia 2015 happening in Singapore. Along with the device, the Chinese company also launched its P8 Lite and TalkBand B2, all of which will be coming to Malaysia in June 2015.
The Huawei P8 is the company’s latest flagship smartphone that brings together quality, style and an affordable price. It is already available for preorder in Malaysia at Huawei’s own e-commerce site, Vmall, for a retail price of RM1,799.
The Huawei P8 comes with a 5.2” IPS-Neo Full HD display with Knuckle Sense. It is powered by the company’s own 2.0GHz HiSilicon Kirin 930 64-bit octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.
The camera is where Huawei paid a lot of attention on. The 13MP shooter at the back packs multiple technologies including an “industry-leading” OIS, world’s first four-colour RGBW sensor for enhanced brightness, and four professional quality low-light shooting modes – Light Painting that lets you capture lights in an artistic way, Director mode that lets you capture videos from four different angles simultaneously, and more. Other specs include dual nano-SIM/Dual 4G, LTE connectivity, 2680mAh battery and runs on Android 5.0 out of the box.
As for the Huawei P8 Lite, it is slightly smaller, with a 5” IPS display. It is powered by a 1.2GHz 64-bit octa-core Kirin 620 processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Other specs include a 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, LTE Cat4, and runs on Android 5.0 out of the box.
The Huawei P8 Lite is priced at SGD$329 and will be available in Malaysia in the month of June.
Finally, the Huawei TalkBand B2 is a combination of a Bluetooth headset and a health tracker. It is similar to the TalkBand B1, except that it is now much more stylish with business-like professional design. Huawei says that the fitness tracking functionality is now more accurate and smarter, and enhanced synchronisation with the user’s mobile device.
The Huawei TalkBand B2 is priced at SGD$239 (TPU strap), and SGD$299 (leather strap), and will be coming to Malaysia in June 2015 as well.
