For the first time since October, Fnatic now has assembled a new team for Dota 2. The European e-Sports giant announced just a few hours ago that it has an agreement with Team Malaysia, led by our Malaysian superstar Mushi.
As every Dota 2 fan would know, Mushi’s had a pretty eventful few years, departing for China two years ago to enhance his skills. Most recently, Mushi left Chinese outfit EHOME in March to return to Team Malaysia, a team which he co-founded with other Malaysians Ohaiyo and KyXy. Team Malaysia was complete with the additions of Johnny and KecikImba who joined that same month.

The players’ strong individual performances prior to Team Malaysia, as well as their collective displays was enough to convince Fnatic to sponsor Team Malaysia and play under the Fnatic name. This is certainly a big deal, and one that is especially significant for the e-Sports scene not just in Malaysia, but in the entire region. With the recent Major All Stars Dota 2 tournament, this announcement is yet another exciting development for the thriving e-Sports community in Malaysia.
Fnatic Dota 2 will make its official debut later tonight against Virtus Pro at the MLG JoinDota Pro League Season 2 LAN Finals in Texas, USA.
