From the moment you wake up in the morning until you fall asleep at night and even when you’re sleeping, Spotify wants to be there for you all the way. The company recently updated its app to bring music into every parts of your life wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, whatever your mood.
The new interface is being rolled out to users around the world, and it brings a richer mobile music experience 24 hours a day. Some of the most exciting features include a new “Now” start page, Spotify Running, and even video clips and audio shows.
The Now start page will suggest to you different music for different moods and different days. Listen to Spotify’s recommendations like a Monday morning playlist to kick start your week, the right tunes to help you focus after your lunch so you don’t end up with food coma, and such.
Spotify says that Now can learn what you like, and suggest to you the right music whatever the occasion is. This means that the more you listen to Spotify, the better it will become.
Your health is the most important thing you have and Spotify wants you to keep your exercise up with Spotify Running. The app will suggest different hits to give you extra motivation to keep pushing on. The app can even detect your tempo and match the perfect music in time to your step so you can focus better and run faster.
Spotify Running features original content from Spotify written by some of the world’s most foremost DJs and composers. They are also partnering with Nike to bring Spotify Running through the Nike+ app.
With the latest update, Spotify is going beyond just music.
