The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge’s prices have been revealed in Singapore, which include the prices of the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB variants as well. We have reported the likely starting prices of these flagship devices in Malaysia yesterday, but those are most probably for the 32GB variant.
The Galaxy S6 in Singapore will go for SG$998 (about RM2,685), SG$1,148 (approximately RM3,090) and SG$1,288 (around RM3,465) for the 32GB, 64GB and 128GB models respectively. The Galaxy S6 edge, on the other hand, is obviously set a higher price point. The 32GB variant will go for SG$1,168 (around RM3,145) while the 64GB and 128GB models will go for SG$1,298 (approximately RM3,490) and SG$1,448 (around RM3,896) respectively.
If we compare how much the 32GB variants of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge models cost in Singapore, they are slightly higher than the retail price in Malaysia, which is set at RM2,599 and RM3,099 for the S6 and S6 edge respectively. That being the case, we can probably expect to pay a little less for each variants listed above.
Other than that, the prices of several accessories for the flagship smartphones have also been revealed, including the Wireless Charging Pad for SG$98 (about RM265) and the Clear Cover for SG$48 (approximately RM130). Seeing how pre-order customers in Malaysia will receive the RM265 Wireless Charging Pad for free, it’s quite the deal.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge is set to be launched this Thursday on the 2nd of April 2015 in Malaysia. Hopefully, these prices will prove to be accurate representations of how much the Korean giant’s latest flagship devices will cost here.
