Huawei is on a roll with the announcement of its Android Wear watch, Talkbands, and now the CarFi. The CarFi is designed for automobiles and it is able to provide a WiFi hotspot of LTE speeds. The device is also able to host up to 10 devices at the same time.
Cellular hotspot devices are not new, but the company’s iteration of a cellular hotspot device plugs in directly to the DC port found in most automobiles. As usual, the device requires an active SIM card with data services. The device will allow speeds of up to 150Mbps LTE Category 4.
The device does not look that bad as it features a carbon fibre finish as well as fire-proof materials. On the side of the device, there is a single USB port that can pass power through to charge any of your phone or tablet. It also features Auto-grade Power management system which intelligently provides the proper amount of power your device needs to prevent overcharging.

With an LTE WiFi hotspot in the car and a simultaneous multi-user connection, the data service would have to be unlimited or have a generous quota of data. Currently, Huawei has not revealed any pricing or availability information so users will have to be a little more patient for the arrival of the device in the market.
