If you were wondering why Huawei did not announced the much rumoured Huawei P8 during MWC 2015, that’s because they want to launch it in their very own event of course. The Chinese company recently teased something on its Weibo page, with the number 8, and something about the battery.
The Huawei Ascend P7 was announced about 10 months ago, so it’s about time Huawei gave its flagship smartphone a refresh. According to the teaser image, the P8 should have an amazing battery life. There is a battery indicator located on the number 8 itself, which sort of turns the image into a “6” – does that mean that it’ll have a 6 days battery life? 6,000mAh battery? They both sound exciting.
Of course, the battery life is only a guess. If you want to know for sure, mark your calendar for April. The Huawei P8 is rumoured to feature a 5.2” Full HD display and ceramic uni-body. Huawei will of course be opting to put the best it has on the P8, meaning that it should have a dual camera similar to the Honor 6 Plus though, with a 13MP resolution, and will be powered by the company’s own Kirin 930 processor with 3GB of RAM.
