Honor Malaysia has officially unveiled the retail price for its latest smartphone, the Honor 4X. The mid-range device is set to be priced very aggressively too, at just RM699.
The Honor 4X is Honor’s latest mid-range entry that will surely excite its fans. Powered by Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 620 64-bit 1.2GHz octa-core processor, the Honor 4X that’s coming in Malaysia also packs 2GB of RAM. Besides that, the Honor 4X features a 5.5-inch 720p IPS display, 8GB internal storage with support for up to 32GB microSD cards, a 3,000mAh battery, 13MP rear and 5MP front cameras, and dual-4G SIM slots.
Running on Huawei’s EMUI 3.0, the Honor 4X also employs Huawei’s patented radio and antenna technologies, which Honor claims to improve reception for both calls and data.
According to Honor Malaysia, the Honor 4X will go on sale next week, with our sources indicating that it will be unveiled on 1 April – given the way it has been actively teasing the device, this is unlikely to be an April Fools prank. With a price tag of RM699, this new device will compete against Xiaomi’s Redmi 2 as the only other dual-SIM, dual-4G device available in Malaysia, though the differences in display size means they will not be direct competitors.
