The Leagoo Lead 7 has finally arrived in Malaysia, say hello to a budget mid-range Android smartphone that has a battery capacity so big, that it can double as a power bank.
The Leagoo Lead 7 is the latest smartphone from the Chinese manufacturer to arrive in Malaysia. It packs mid-range specs under its 5” JDI display such as a 1.3GHz quad-core SoC paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is expandable via micro SD. As for the camera, it features a 13MP rear camera with 5p lens and stacked CMOS sensor technology by Sony. The front has a 8MP sensor, perfect for those of you who loves to take selfies.
Don’t be deceived by its mediocre specs though, it may be a mid-ranger but it comes with a huge 4,000mAh battery on board that is perfect for those of you who are always on the go. Leagoo Lead 7 boasts 25 hours of music play, 9 hours of video play and a whopping 300 hours in standby mode.
On top of that, the Lead 7 can even be used to charge up your other gadgets using an OTG cable that comes bundled together with the phone. To make things even better, Leagoo also says that even when the battery is completely flat, just plug in a charger and it will power on immediately.
Another notable feature includes Smart UI based on Android 4.4.2 that features flatter design, gesture controls and more. There is also a Leagoo Xender data transfer platform on board that is developed by the company and AnMobi. According to Leagoo, it can transfer files from one device to another, including an iPhone, 50 times faster than Bluetooth. Interestingly, it doesn’t even rely on Wi-Fi, or 3G networks – we’re definitely more than interested to see how that works.
Other specs include dual-SIM, a dimension of 144 x 71.6 x 8.8mm, weighs 160grams and is available in black or white.
The Leagoo Lead 7 is available starting today from Leagoo for a retail price of RM599. Visit Leagoo’s Facebook page and their website to find out more.
