The Mi Headphones are one of the many devices that Xiaomi has unveiled today at its launch event in Beijing. Featuring the capability to interchange the ear covers of the headphones, it can be both over-the-ear and on-ear headphones, allowing users to switch to whichever style that is more comfortable to them.
Judging from the images of the products, the Mi Headphones do look like a rather premium audio equipment with an affordable price tag. The headphones also have 50mm beryllium diaphragm speakers that Xiaomi claims are 25% bigger than other headphones.
If you’re worried that the Mi headphones would not be ideal for mobile use, don’t be; Xiaomi boasts that with a low impendance of 32Ω, these headphones are ideal for mobile usage. Other features of the Mi headphones include a semi-open acoustic structure and a straight silver-plated wire.
Although the availability of the Mi Headphones have not been announced yet, the retail price is set at 499 Yuan (approximately RM285).
