As you might able to recall, Oppo has launched a new product called Mirror 3 in Vietnam earlier this week. Essentially a mid-range Android smartphone, it turns out that the new device will making its way to our market very soon. By soon, we mean later this month.
Just like its Vietnamese variant, the Malaysian version of Mirror 3 is equipped with a 4.7-inch 1280 x 720 IPS display together with 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 64-bit quad-core processor and 1GB worth of RAM. In addition, Mirror 3 also comes with 8GB internal storage which is rather small but fret not; it also supports micro SD card with capacity of up to 128GB.
With a thickness of 8.95 mm, the 126 grams smartphone comes with an arched backside that is apparently designed to make it easier to hold. At the same time, it is also filled with layered polka-dot design that is protected by a scratch-resistant UV coating.
In addition to that, the smartphone also features an 8-megapixels Sony IMX179 BSI sensor and 5-elements F2.0 lens with blue filter on its rear alongside an LED flash. There is also a 5-megapixels camera on the front of the device as well. Similar to the N3 and R5, these cameras are enhanced with Oppo’s own Pure Image 2.0+ technology.
Pre-installed with ColorOS 2.0.1 on top of its Android 4.4 operating system, other features that are available on the Mirror 3 also include Smart Remote 2.0+ infrared controller, fast charging, and dual SIM dual standby capability. The only major difference that actually sets ours and Vietnamese variant apart is that the Malaysian unit has the support for LTE.
Priced at RM 898, the new Oppo Mirror 3 will be officially launch in Malaysia later this month. So, keep a look for its official page on oppomobile.com.my once the new smartphone is ready to be released into the market.
