The BlackBerry Classic has just been launched in Malaysia, available exclusively from Celcom. As the name suggests, this device has elements of the BlackBerry Bold 9900’s design, which will surely bring back some nostalgia for BlackBerry fans everywhere.
In terms of hardware, the BlackBerry Classic has a 3.5-inch 720 x 720 touchscreen display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus dual-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, microSD card support up to 128GB, 8MP rear and 2MP front cameras, and the iconic 35-key physical QWERTY backlit keyboard.
In the battery department, the BlackBerry Classic has a 2515mAh battery that is claimed to last up to 22 hours. As for connectivity, it has LTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and Miracast. The BlackBerry Classic will also be running on the BlackBerry 10 OS.
The BlackBerry Classic is available from today onwards at all Celcom Blue Cube and Celcom Xclusive stores with a starting price of RM338. As for now, the device is exclusively available from Celcom until the 1st of March 2015.
