With the year coming to an end and MWC 2014 happening in about two months, let’s bring on the rumours and leaks about upcoming devices that will be showcased in the event. LG has recently been reported to be working on the LG G4, and it will go head to head with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, featuring its very own stylus and some top-of-the-line hardware available in the market.
Earlier this month, LG filed for a trademark of the term “LG G Pen”, possibly the name of the stylus that will make its debut on the G4. On top of a new little pen, the G4 will pack some exciting specs too including a 5.3” QHD display, and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with a whopping 4GB of RAM and up to 64GB of internal storage. Other rumoured specs include 20.7MP rear camera, and a large 3500mAh battery.
Unlike the stylus found on the LG G3 Stylus, the G Pen is rumoured to pack similar features to what Samsung offers on its Galaxy Note line-up of devices, like taking notes and drawing with its very fine nib, and enable superior multitasking capabilities.
As always, take the rumour with a pinch of salt. Excited? MWC will be happening in early March 2015, so mark your calendars and stay tuned as we wait for the official announcement from the Korean company.
