If the smartphone above reminds you of a rather colourful plastic phone from a certain fruit company, you’re not alone. Enter the Meizu M1 Note, the first smartphone in the company’s new “Blue Charm” line.
In terms of specifications, the M1 Note is a pretty well-equipped phablet. It has a 5.5-inch 1080p display with a MediaTek MT6752 octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz under its hood that is paired to 2GB of RAM. Storage wise, the M1 Note has either 16GB or 32GB of non-expandable internal storage.
In the camera department, this phablet has a 13MP rear camera that is capable of 120fps slow-motion video recording. In the front, you’ll find a 5MP shooter. Rounding up the specifications are a 3410mAh battery, dual-SIM support, 4G connectivity, and Flyme OS 4 that is based on Android. In terms of colour choices, the phablet comes in shades of Yellow, Blue, White, Green, and Pink.
What makes the M1 Note a very compelling phablet is its price tag of only 999 yuan (about RM560) for the 16GB model and 1,199 yuan (approximately RM670) for the 32GB model. At this price point with such specifications, this phone will definitely be a hot contender in the phablet market.
Now that Meizu has an official presence here in Malaysia, we might see this very affordable phablet enter our market in the very near future. For more information, visit the official product page.
