Look at what Celcom just posted on its website – the BlackBerry Classic that was officially launched just yesterday. Celcom has just listed the latest smartphone from BlackBerry as “Coming Soon” on its main page.
Details about the BlackBerry Classic in Malaysia is scarce at the moment, the teaser does not have any pricing or date of availability, but hey, at least we know that it’s coming soon right? And if things works like the launch of the BlackBerry Passport, the Classic should be available exclusively on Celcom, at least for the few first weeks or months.
Formerly known as the BlackBerry Q20, the BlackBerry Classic is, well, a very classic BlackBerry smartphone with a physical 35-key QWERTY backlit keyboard right beneath its 3.5” touch display. Running on BlackBerry 10 OS, it is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Other specs includes LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and has a 2,515mAh battery that promises up to 22 hours of operational time.
