Is the LG G3 finally coming to Malaysia? Last night, LG Malaysia’s Facebook page posted a teaser for 10:10am on 18 December 2014, saying that “the wait for the most anticipated innovation by LG is almost over”, followed by an image of what looks like the silhouette of an LG G3.
Introduced in May this year, the LG G3 is one of the best Android flagship smartphone available. It comes with a 5.5” Quad HD IPS display and is powered by a 2.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor. It’s available in two different variants – one has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, and the other has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, both of which supports microSD cards up to 128GB in size. Other specs include 13MP OIS+ camera sensor with laser autofocus, 2.1MP front camera, 3000mAh battery, unique rear buttons, and runs on Android 4.4 out of the box and will be updated to Android Lollipop.
Let’s hope that this means that LG Malaysia is ready to bring it smartphones to Malaysia once again, in a timely manner at least. LG Malaysia has been awfully quiet for years when it comes to mobile devices, in fact, the last Android smartphone brought in officially by the Korean company was the LG Optimus G Pro. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that LG will be bringing in more mobile devices to Malaysia because CES 2015 and MWC 2015 are just months away.
