The Legend Circuit, a league for renowned MOBA game League of Legends, will come to a conclusion towards the end of December at KLCC. Eight teams which are comprised of two local teams and two Singaporean teams will battle it out for a chance at clinching the first place prize of RM 25,000.
Throughout the two day event, spectators will not only be able to witness South East Asia’s best LoL teams duke it out with one another but will also be able to engage in other activities. For example, event attendees can take part in a lucky draw where they stand a chance to win gaming peripherals such as mice, keyboard, headphones, and mousepads, courtesy of Logitech. Event attendees will also be treated to a cosplay contest which features 10 cosplayers from around the country.
Those who attend the event with a valid ticket will also receive a goodie bag that will include freebies such as a lanyard, wristband, cheer sticks and keychains. Lastly, those that are interested may also purchase a handful of merchandise at the event itself, though it goes without saying that stocks for the items will be limited and cash will be the only accepted payment option.
In order to attend The Legend Circuit, one would be required to purchase a ticket that goes for RM56 for a single person or RM106 for two people; prices are inclusive of shipping. Ticket purchases can be made via MOL at this link.
While the scale and calibre of the event won’t scathe that of the League of Legends 2014 World Championship, it will no doubt be a push in the right direction for the eSports scene in Malaysia. For more information on the tournament, head on to the official website here.
