As you might have heard, Lumia 535 is first self-branded Windows Phone device from Microsoft and it was released in Malaysia earlier this week for only RM 429. Built with 5-inch IPS display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, and 5-megapixels camera at its front as well as back, the device is currently the most affordable entry point to the world of Windows Phone 8 within Microsoft family.
But if you would like to try your luck and obtain it for free though, then you might want to read on further.
For the next two days, Microsoft will giving away five Lumia 535 on daily basis at selected GSC locations including Tropicana City Mall, Cheras Leisure Mall, IOI Mall Puchong, Paradigm Mall, and Setia City Mall. Hence, there will be a total of 50 Lumia 535 that can be won through this special giveaway.
All one need to do is purchase a GSC movie ticket at either of these cinemas before 4:30pm and then queue up at Microsoft Lumia booth at 430pm in order to obtain a lucky draw slip. Furthermore, existing Lumia Windows Phone owners who show up at the booth with GSC Windows Phone app on their Lumia device will also receive two GSC movie vouchers.
The five lucky winners will be then be chosen through the lucky draw at 5:35 pm on both days. Don’t fret if you eventually didn’t get to win the Lumia 535 through this giveaway though as you are also able to win it through the GSC Lumia Mofie contest that will take place from tomorrow till 31 December. Moving on, Microsoft is also now offering Acer Iconia Tab 8 W for free with each purchase of its flagship Windows Phone device, the Nokia Lumia 930. The Iconia Tab 8 W is not just any random tablet: powered by a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z3735G quad-core processor, it is actually a full-fledged Windows 8.1 tablet.
Available at 17 Nokia Branded Store throughout the country till 31 Dec (or while stocks last), there is one catch though: this promo is somehow only opened to existing Nokia owners which means you need to produce a Nokia device if you want to take advantage of the offer. Then again, we don’t think this is a huge problem as it shouldn’t be that hard to find a friend that uses a Nokia phone. *cough*
Anyway, do check out our hands-on experience with Nokia Lumia 930 right here to learn more about it.
