Storage wise, it will come in choices of 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB. Other specifications include a 20.7MP rear camera with double LED flash, 5MP front camera, 3350mAh battery, Android 4.4 KitKat with Meizu’s Flyme OS ROM, and a fingerprint sensor that doubles as the home button.
Interestingly, Meizu plans on releasing two more entry-level or mid-range devices by the end of December 2014 and January 2015. Meizu did not disclose what these two devices will be, however.
To establish its presence here in Malaysia, Meizu will be opening six exclusive stores in the Peninsular. There will be one in Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya, and two in Penang and Johor Bahru. No word yet from Meizu in regards to opening any store in East Malaysia.
In the launch event for the MX4, Meizu also revealed that Lazada will sell the phone exclusively on its site for a limited time. The MX4 is priced at RM1099, and has been available since 28th November with hands on available at selected outlets.
