It’s only been a couple of weeks since Apple released the iOS 8.1.1 update, but it looks like the Cupertino company has yet another update for its users. This time the update, version 8.1.2, addresses some pretty annoying ringtone issue, as well as the usual bug fixes.
Available over the air immediately, it’s a rather small update of only about 30MB (varies between different devices), but it fixes up the problem where ringtones purchased through the iTunes Store were missing from the device.
If the ringtone issue has affected you, Apple also has a new webpage that helps you easily restore them back. Just open this link (http://itunes.com/restore-tones) on your affected device, and the page will help you restore the ringtones you’ve lost.
Anyone here affected by the missing ringtone problem on your older iOS 8 version?
