Gamers looking for headsets to go with their Xbox Ones might be in for a delight as Razer has just announced the Razer Kraken stereo gaming headset for the console. The headset will be aesthetically similar to the Chroma version, save for the multi coloured lighting options and the 7.1 virtual surround sound technology.
Featuring a similar build to the original Kraken headset, these headphones use 40mm neodymium audio drivers to ensure that gamers are able to enjoy a perfect balance of highs, mids, and lows during their gaming sessions. The headset features a closed-ear cup design which sports leather padding, and also an adjustable headband that will accommodate virtually any head size. Razer has also retained its unidirectional mic for this version of the Razer Kraken, which can also be easily tucked away when gamers are not communicating with their teammates or friends.
However, an item that is unique to the Xbox One version of the Razer Kraken is the audio control unit that fits into the Xbox One controller. As one can assume from its name, the audio control unit allows the gamer to control different aspects of both game volume and chat; users can decide whether or not they would like to hear more of voice chat and less game noise or vice versa. The headset is also connected through said audio control unit which means that gamers need not worry of the headset going missing as it is always in close proximity of the controller.
The Razer Kraken stereo gaming headset for Xbox One is now available from the Razer Store for RM339 and will only come in a black coloured finish.
