DiGi has just added the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, a mid-range Android smartphone, to its phone bundles, offering the device from as low as RM0 when you sign up for a contract with the telco.
As always, if you purchase the Galaxy Grand Prime from DiGi, you will need to sign up for a 24 months contract under DG SmartPlan 78, SmartPlan 108 or SmartPlan 148. Each of these postpaid plans comes bundled with internet, free calls and free SMS.
The data offered on DiGi’s SmartPlans are split into two different usage – one is for everything, and the other is allocated for Smart Apps (Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Twitter, WeChat and WhatsApp). As always, if you’ve been with DiGi for over 12 months, the telco will waive the advance payment too.
Available in Grey or White, the Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime is one of the latest mid-range Android smartphone to reach Malaysia. It features a 5” qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960. On the inside, it’s powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage that is expandable via microSD card up to 64GB. Other specs include dual-SIM support, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2600mAh battery, and runs on Android 4.4 out of the box.
