It looks like HTC is working on a mid range device called the HTC Desire 620, and someone has gotten hold of it even before it’s been unveiled by the Taiwanese company. A Bulgarian website, Nixanbal.com, recently posted their hands on with the device and although it’s been removed, nothing on the internet gets deleted permanently.
As you can see from the pictures, it’s made entirely out of plastic and features dual front speakers. The build looks good, which means that it should be the final version and HTC should be launching it very soon. According to Nixanbal, the Desire 620 features a 5” 710p display and is powered by a 1.2GHz (probably the 64-bit Snapdragon 410 processor) with Adreno 306 GPU, 1GB f RAM and 8GB of internal storage. Other specs include 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 2100mAh removable battery, and runs on Android 4.4.4 KitKat out of the box with HTC Sense 6.0 on board.
HTC makes very nice devices and I’m a big fan of its Sense UI for Android devices, but the Desire smartphones that are currently in the market are just too expensive, especially considering how cheap the Chinese players are offering their smartphones for. Let’s hope that the Desire 620 will be priced right. More pictures available at the source links – Nixambal’s post has been taken off, but is still available on Google cache.
