Logitech has announced the availability of Type+ and AnyAngle, two new accessories catering for the iPad Air 2 and iPad mini. The former is an iPad keyboard case that comes with an integrated keyboard whereas the latter presents itself to be a protective case that doubles as a stand for the iPad.
The Type+ is bluetooth keyboard case combo for the iPad. In keyboard mode, users have access to iOS shortcuts to features such as Siri, multitasking, dedicated buttons to the home screen and Safari, and the search function. The peripheral is automatically turned on whenever the user positions it in the typing position, ridding the need to manually switch the keyboard on. Logitech also claims that the battery of the peripheral is capable of lasting up to three months on a single full charge.
Unfortunately, there’s not much variety when it comes to colour customisation as only two colours will be available, namely in black and bright red. The Type+ is expected to sell for a price of RM299 and will be available locally during the middle of December.
The AnyAngle, is a case for the iPad Air 2 and all iPad mini models that acts as a stand to support the iPad in a position within a 50-degree angle. The peripheral does this by employing a hinge that holds the iPad firmly in place. Magnets reinforce said hinge which means that the angle is retained even when the iPad is moved.
The case is made out of a rubberised frame which ensures that the iPad will be protected in instances of accidental bumps or drops. The magnets in the front of the cover ensure that the iPad is tightly secured when not in use, ensuring that the device is well protected from accidental damage.
The AnyAngle is available in a variety of colours such as black, violet, grey, red/blue, teal, and yellow. As for availability and pricing, the peripheral is set for a release date during the middle of December for a price of RM189.
