Xiaomi is rumoured to be in development of a second Android tablet. After releasing the Mi Pad, a high-end Android tablet, new details have emerged about a new 9.2-inch low-end Xiaomi tablet. As “low-end” as this tablet may be, it will still feature LTE support.
While the Mi Pad is never sold outside of China, this new tablet might see an international release. In the leaked detail, it was revealed that the mysterious tablet has FDD-LTE support, which is more commonly used around the world (China uses TD-LTE). This 9.2-inch tablet also supports voice calls.

This rumoured Xiaomi tablet has pretty decent specifications for a “low-end” tablet. It has a 9.2-inch 1280 x 720 display and is powered by the quad-core 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 processor with 1GB of RAM. Storage wise, it will have 8GB of internal storage. Unfortunately, the leaked information did not mention anything about expandable storage, or other internal storage sizes available for this tablet.
As for pricing, it will not be more than 599 Yuan (around RM320), with an estimated pricing as low as 499 Yuan (approximately RM270).
