Maxis has recently released the Hotlink RED app in the Apple App Store. Previously available on Android devices only, the Hotlink RED app makes it easier to manage your Hotlink account and wouldn’t incur any data charges when you’re in the app.
Designed for smartphone users on Hotlink, the eliminates the need to key in cumbersome USSD codes every time you want to make changes to your account. With the Hotlink RED app, you can check your balance, make purchases for mobile internet passes or top up tickets, and even monitor your mobile data usage. There’s even the Live.Life.Loud social hub, offering limited-time promotions for freebies, tickets to concerts as well as other Hotlink events and parties.
As an added bonus for downloading the app, new users will receive RM5 credit once they have entered their phone number. A prompt to key in a phone number will appear the first time the RED app is launched. Via the Live.Life.Loud tab, users also stand the chance to win rewards from Hotlink. In order to check if there are any on-going giveaways, the Live.Life.Loud tab is just two taps away.
iOS users can download the Hotlink RED app here. For more information about the app, watch the video below for a walkthrough by one of the app’s developers. Although the walkthrough below is for the Android version of the app, there should be little differences in the user experience with the iOS app.
