For starters, Samsung have confirmed the first five monitors that will be featuring the technology which has also been adopted as a VESA standard under the name AdaptiveSync. The said displays include the 23.6 and 28-inch models under the UD590 series as well as 23.6, 27, and 31.5-inch models for UE850 series.
All these five monitors are expected to be available in market starting from March 2015 onwards although the pricing were not announced during today’s AMD press event. From there, the support for AMD FreeSync will be extended to subsequent UHD monitors that Samsung will release in 2015.
