Bad news for iPhone 6 Plus owners or for those of you who want to get your hands on Apple’s first phablet, the camera on some iPhone 6 Plus have reportedly been suffering from some very weird issues. Reported by several users, the camera seems to be going crazy resulting in some very wavy effects.
The problem has actually been infecting users since last month. oneZer01 posted on Apple’s support page saying that the rear camera of his iPhone 6 Plus “won’t remain stable and is blurry” in both video and picture mode. To cut the story shot, the rear camera is basically unusable, even in third party camera apps. The thread only has 2 pages, but it seems like most users who replied to it are experiencing the same problem too.
Confused? This Japanese blogger shared a video of the bug in action and infects all the various camera modes be it photo, video, slow-mo video, square and panorama. It will result in, well, wavy pictures and videos that looks like the phone is in a fish tank.
First “bendgate”, then “hairgate”, then memory problem and now this. Let’s hope the Cupertino company will have a fix for this because the iPhone 6 Plus has an amazing camera and could possibly be one of the best smartphone camera available in the market.
