Google has joined in the fray to deliver the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop update to its phones. The update is being pushed today to Nexus devices, right after the update for the LG G3 and Moto X started rolling out earlier this week.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop won’t only be coming to the Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 (2013), but to the Nexus 4, Nexus 7 (2012) and Nexus 10 as well; even though they fall out of the 18 months update window set by Google. It is a pleasant surprise to see that Google did not forget about its older devices.

Android 5.0 Lollipop brings various changes to the table. One of the more interesting feature is Guest Mode which can be toggled on at any time, and it is very useful if you lend your Nexus device to friends or family. Once in Guest Mode, the guest could do anything they want on the phone, from signing in to their Google account, to accessing apps available on the phone. Once they are done, their footprints are erased from the phone. Think Incognito Mode for Chrome Browser and you won’t be far off.
There are other slew of new and improved features on Android 5.0 Lollipop. If you’re eager to try it out for yourself, start spamming the “check for update” button on your Nexus device. Alternatively, if you’re more tech-savvy, you could manually update by downloading the factory image for your respective device.
