One of the star at the Casio Malaysia’s launch earlier today (more on that later), the Casio Exilim EX-TR50 is the latest model in the company’s Exilim TR camera series which is designed for selfie lovers out there. Launched in Japan just two months ago, it will be heading to our market real soon.
By soon, we actually mean this Sunday, 16 November at 9:28am. Mark that down in your calendar, ladies.
On that very day, Casio will be releasing the Special Edition Exilim EX-TR50 set to mark the arrival of the camera in our market. Featuring a jewellery box to go together with the camera, only 100 sets are made available with each of them are individually numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
All these Special Edition Exilim EX-TR50 sets will be available exclusively at Fotokem Mid Valley Megamall for RM 3299. The standard edition of the camera will also be released at Casio Exilim dealers throughout Malaysia with the same price tag from that day onwards.
Just like its predecessors, the Exilim EX-TR50 is built with rotatable body which made it easier for users to see its 3-inch LCD display while taking a selfie. Featuring an all-new 1/1.7-inch 11.1-megapixels sensor and 21mm wide-angle lens, Casio has also implemented a new mode called Make-Up Plus into the new Exilim EX-TR50 which allow users to manually set the brightness of their skin tones through six skin whitening and an additional six sun-kissed skin effects.
Additionally, there is also another new mode called Make-Up Bracketing which snaps three photos with varying skin tones at one go so that users are able to choose the pictures they like immediately. Together with a new UI, the camera also is equipped with high brightness LED light to help users snap photos in low light conditions.
