The existing HTC One (M8) which was launched in March this year
It’s been a while since the launch of the HTC One (M8), so it’s about time we hear about the next generation flagship smartphone from the Taiwanese company – the HTC One (M9). The HTC One (M9) is the latest smartphone to hit the rumour mill, featuring some of the latest hardware available in the market.
According to some report, the One (M9) from HTC will have slightly better specs compared to the existing HTC One (M8) such as an improved 5.2” display with 2K resolution (1440 x 2560 vs. 1080 x 1920 on the One (M8)), a faster Snapdragon 805 processor (compared to Snapdragon 801 on the M8), and a generous 3GB of RAM as opposed to 2GB on the M8.
Other rumoured specs include up to 128GB of internal storage, Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box, larger battery, a camera with higher Megapixels count (no more Ultra Pixels??), and a higher IP certification rating compared to the current IPx3.
The device is expected to be announced in MWC 2015, which will be happening early next year. Are you excited to see what HTC has got to offer? I’m personally hoping that HTC would pack all of its latest technology into the device like a waterproof build, a 13MP front camera equipped with dual-tone flash, and maybe HTC Sense 7 too.
