Facebook has introduced a new feature to celebrate the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday in the US. Say Thanks allows users to send video cards to their Facebook friends. It is one of the many new updates and features that Facebook has rolled out as of late such as Safety Check and allowing users more flexibility in terms of content visibility.
The way Say Thanks works is relatively simple, Facebook users will have to visit this link here where they will be greeted by a dashboard of sorts. From there, users are able to select their friend whom they want to send a short video to as well as select from two themes, Old Friends and Friends. Users can then edit photos to appear in the 45 second or minute long video depending on the theme.
It should be noted that the “videos” are more of a slideshow of pictures accompanied by instrumental music than anything.
Say Thanks is available now on both mobile and desktop versions of Facebook but only supports a few languages namely, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Portugese, Spanish, and Turkish.
