Razer’s Chroma line is expanding with the introduction of the Naga Epic Chroma. Like the rest of the Chroma devices, it features the 16 million colour customisation option for those who want that sort of thing. The Naga Epic Chroma also comes with the same 12 programmable thumb buttons for gamers who don’t want to use their keyboards.
Support for Razer’s Stats & Heatmaps, which provides statistics for gamers who want to take note of where they can improve. It tracks game time, button presses, distance moved, and how much overall pressure was exerted while gaming. Giving gamers the same kind of information generally associated with professional sports. How useful this is to the average gamer is still unknown, but it is nice to know that it exists.
The Razer Naga Epic Chroma is due to debut at Blizzcon on 7 November. Which makes sense as the mouse is targeted at MMO players who enjoy all the extra buttons for their macros, or just keeping one hand free to snack while playing. At least it makes more sense than Blizzard inviting Metallica to close out the show.
It will cost some US$129.99 (RM427) when it appears in stores.
