League of Legends’ Halloween event, The Harrowing, is currently in full swing with twice the number of players thrown into the MOBA’s smallest and most jam packed map. New hero skins and flash sales are also taking place until 4 November. Even if you are not a fan of the game, the promotional cinematic is worth watching for just how entertaining it is.
LeBlanc and Wukong are the two Champions earning new skins this time around, and Riot is offering Flash Sales that rotate every six hours for other Champion skins. Be sure to check back at least four times a day to avoid missing anything. Legacy skins that are no longer on sale are also making a temporary return, along with past Halloween bundles.
The event game mode is currently called Hexakill. It pits teams of six Champions against each other on the Twisted Treeline map; which usually only holds 3v3 battles. Riot is calling this a good opportunity to earn the extremely rare hexakill; if only because there is no other map that will allow it to happen.
Finally, there is the promotional animation; which really is very good for a piece meant to promote a video game.
