The Amazon Appstore is a great alternative for you to download apps for your Android devices. The store usually offers highly discounted and even free Android apps, but there is one problem – you need to download an APK file to install the Appstore onto your phone. For those who are a bit paranoid about installing APK files, then here’s a piece of good news for you. Amazon has quietly integrated its Appstore into its main Amazon app, which is available right from the Google Play Store.
For those of you who have not installed the Amazon Appstore on your Android device because you are too afraid to do so, just head on to the Google Play Store now and download the main Amazon app. Once done, just tap on the “Shop by Department” option, and you will be able to see Appstore for Android. You will be able to download and install apps from Amazon right from the app. Unfortunately though, since it’s still a third-party app store, you will need to enable installation of apps from unknown sources inside the Settings menu of your Android device.
On top of offering discounts on many popular Android apps, the Amazon Appstore also offers free apps daily. In addition to that, every once in a while, they will also offer a wide collection of apps for free for a limited time period. Check out the Amazon app for Android on the Google Play Store now.
