Google’s Project Ara is without a doubt a very interesting smartphone to look forward to, which allows you to change any components as and when you want to, but how do you purchase new parts? There’ll be a store for that of course.
Team leader, Paul Eremenko, recently said in an interview at Purdue University that there will be a special store for Ara components, and like most stores, there’ll be recommendations and reviews too.
But where will these components come from? On top of official partners Google has teamed up with, anybody and everybody can make their own Ara modules. In the same interview, Paul Eremenko also mentioned that the Ara MDK is free and available to everybody so if you can create a module, you can put it up for sale in the Ara store.
