Ubisoft has revealed more information about the upcoming Season Pass for Far Cry 4, which includes the standard issue DLC missions and other content. There is also a planned player-vs-player multiplayer mode, which will finally allow people to shoot at each other in Far Cry.
New missions include The Syringe, which involves keeping dangerous drugs from falling into the wrong hands, and escaping one of Pagan Min’s prisons in Escape of Durgesh Prison. Series staple Hurk also returns in a planned DLC that will see him provide five new missions, alongside new weapons (one of which is apparently a harpoon gun).
Yetis are also being thrown into a game that already promises battle elephants in the form of a supernatural themed mission Valley of the Yetis. These mythological creatures have traditionally been associated with the Himalayas, and their inclusion as DLC comes as no surprise to the series. At least not after the madness that was Far Cry Blood Dragon.
Multiplayer options are further expanded with the The Overrun, which throws players into one of two teams and sets them in a battle to control map locations.
Ubisoft has not mentioned when the content from the Season Pass will be delivered, although it has already slapped a US$30 price tag on the package. The Syringe is apparently launching with Far Cry 4, which technically makes it the dreaded launch day DLC, on 18 November.
