The Sony Xperia Z3 may have just been launched here in Malaysia and has not even reached certain countries yet, but bring on the Sony Xperia Z4 leaks! Details about the next generation Sony Xperia Z series has recently been published online and expected, it will be packed with some of the greatest hardware available.
This leak comes from the same source that leaked the Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact a while back and if you’re one of those who are annoyed that Sony is still using a Full HD display while its competitors have already gone 2K, then this might be the device for you. The Xperia Z4 will feature a 5.5” display with QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440. It will feature the same omni-balance design language and will be very similar to Xperia Z3 in terms of appearance, why are we not surprised?
The source also says that the Xperia Z4 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core 64-bit chipset clocked at 2.8GHz and an Adreno 430 GPU. There will be 32GB of internal storage on board and a whopping 4GB of RAM as well. Camera wise, Sony will finally be upgrading the camera from he IMX220 20.7MP sensor that has been used since the Xperia Z1. The Z4 will instead use a curved Exmor RS CMOS sensor with a similar resolution.
Excited about the Sony Xperia Z4? The device is expected to debut in March next year, most probably in MWC 2015.
