Calling all fans of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4, the moment you’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 has just been launched here in Malaysia for a retail price of RM2,499. As mentioned before, the device will go on sale starting this Friday, 17 October 2014 and as a consumer launch program, the company will be hosting a 3-days tour for the Galaxy Note 4 across five states in Malaysia.
From Friday, 17 October till 19 October 2014, Samsung will be hosting roadshows in Klang Valley, Penang, Kota Kinabalu, Johor Bahru and Pahang, and the first 100 customers will get a Samsung Gear Circle for free. The launch will be happening in these places:
- Klang Valley – Samsung and its partners (Celcom, DiGi, Harvey Norman and Maxis) to set up booths at the Blue Concourse, Sunway Pyramid Shopping Mall
- Penang – Lot L6.16, L6.17, L6.18 – Gurney Paragon Mall
- Kota Kinabalu – Lot G65, G66 & G67 at Center Point Shopping Center
- Johor Bahru – Lot J2-02 & J2-03 at City Square
- Pahang – GC-E, Ground Floor at Kuantan Parade
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 retails at RM2,499 and apart from Samsung Experience Stores and Samsung Authorised dealers, you can get it with a telco subsidy from all major telco players in Malaysia including Celcom, Maxis, U Mobile and DiGi.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 was announced just last month at Samsung Unpacked Episode 2. It’s the latest phablet from the Korean company that features all the latest and greatest hardware such as a large 5.7” Quad HD Super AMOLED display and more. The unit we are getting in Malaysia is the one powered by Samsung’s very own Exynos octa-core processor (1.9GHz + 1.3GHz) accompanied by 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage on board (supports up to 64GB cards). Other specs include a 16MP rear camera with Smart OIS, 3.7MP front camera, 3220mAh battery with fast charging, and of course, is equipped with the S Pen and a suite of apps catered for Samsung’s very own stylus.
