Few months ago, Vertu and Bentley announced a partnership to make luxury smartphones together and if you’ve been waiting to see what these two premium brands can come out with, here it is. Vertu just announced a new “Vertu for Bentley” Android smartphone dressed in fancy and expensive materials, and of course, has a Bentley branding.
As with all Vertu phones, the “Vertu for Bentley” is made out of the finest materials. It has quilted calf leather that features the classic Bentley shade of Newmarket Tan, and stitched with a diamond pattern. The phone is also designed with titanium that features tactile diamond knurling, a traditional ceramic pillow, and of course, a metal Bentley “B” wings located at the bottom of the device.
As for specifications, the Vertu for Bentley comes with a 4.7” 1080p Sapphire Crystal display. It is powered by a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor with 64GB of internal storage. Other specs include 13MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, LTE connectivity, 2275mAh battery on board, and will run on Android 4.4 out of the box.
What’s a luxury handset if it isn’t limited? Only 2,000 units of Vertu for Bentley will be sold and it is available for €12,500, that’s almost RM52,000!
