It’s not uncommon to come across people letting go of their beloved video game collection that they’ve amassed throughout the years. But this one person plans to sell his entire video game collection for a whooping US$164,000(RM533,106.60).
Priced at US$164,000 (RM533,106.60), the collection is comprised of 5,700 games, over 50 gaming systems, complete Nintendo and SEGA sets, and much more. A large majority of the video games are from the 80s up till the 90s, and almost every single retail video game released from Nintendo between the year 1985-2000 is included in the collection.
According to the seller, there are 835 NES games, 744 SNES games, 784 Nintendo Gamecube games, 511 Gameboy games, 445 GameBoy Colour, 492 SEGA Genesis games, 232 SEGA Game Gear, 206 ATARI 2600 as well as a number of PlayStation and Xbox titles. The complete list can be found here.
“All games are in used condition. All show some sign of wear. Condition varies, some games may have stickers or marker on them or slight tears in label or cracks in cases,” the seller states. He also went on to affirm the condition of other games, “ Many games are excellent to mint condition with a very small few being factory sealed. Overall average condition for games is ‘good.’”
To sweeten the deal, the seller has chose to giveaway multiple SEGA and Nintendo game systems too incuding an Atari7800, PS1, PS2, Xbox, PS Vita, PSP, and Turbografx-16. Complimentary goodies such as a framed Nintendo Power Issue #1 and final Nintendo Power Issue, signed artwork, and custom-made wooden Gameboy shelves, are also included.
