Remember YotaPhone, the Android smartphone that comes with not only one, but two displays – one regular one and an e-ink one? Well, here’s a piece of good news for the fans of the YotaPhone because the device is heading to Malaysia really soon. Global Line Network, the official distributor of YotaPhone in Malaysia, has just sent us an invitation for the launch of the YotaPhone scheduled for this Friday, 10 October 2014, and they are inviting 10 Yota fans to witness the launch – you might even walk away with one YotaPhone.

Since the second generation YotaPhone is still unavailable for sale at the moment, Global Line Network is bringing in the refreshed first generation variant. It features a 4.3” 720p IPS display with a pixel density of 342ppi. On the inside, it’s powered by a 1.7 dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Turn it around and you will get a second display – e-ink touch display with a resolution of 640 x 360. Other specs include 13MP rear camera, 1,800mAh battery, LTE connectivity, and will run on Android 4.2.2 out of the box.
