By now, it should be no secret that Apple devices often command a premium price point that not many individuals are willing to fork out money for and the recently launched iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus are of no exception. One particular individual however, gives the term premium price a new meaning when he put up a bid for a rare Apple iPhone 6 prototype on eBay that is currently going for US$100,000(RM 326050.00).
The seller stated that U.S. mobile carrier Verizon had shipped him the device by mistake and in order to reinforce his claims that this is indeed a legitimate prototype of the iPhone 6, the seller uploaded a handful of screenshots detailing the primitive looking operating system of the prototype as well as displaying icons that look nothing close to the final iOS 8 software that all iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus phones come pre-installed with.
Regardless of the Prototype’s inability to perform basic actions such as making phone calls or taking pictures, up to 170 people have bid for the iPhone 6.
