Technology enthusiasts who cannot wait to try out the new Windows 10 features are in luck. Microsoft has released the Technical Preview for Windows 10, and it is now available for download from the official website. Users will have to sign up for the Windows Insider program before being allowed to download the preview, but all that takes is signing in with a Microsoft Account.
The main draw for users here will be to see the revamped Start Menu, which some are saying is what Windows 8 should have done in the first place. Early users of the Preview have already begun testing the OS and are reporting that it uses up fewer system resources than its predecessor. However, it is still too early to say if it will remain that way under heavy usage situations.
As usual the Technical Preview is an early build of the operating system and is nowhere near stable enough for regular use. Bugs and frequent errors are to be expecting due to the nature of the software. The Windows 10 Technical Preview can be downloaded from Windows site.
