Apple has just announced that it will be launching the new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus in China on 17 October 2014. Online preorders will start on 10 October and in-store prorders will begin on 14 October. Because the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus supports practically all LTE networks out there, it will be compatible with the TD-LTE and FDD-LTE networks in the country offered by China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom.
Just like in other countries, Apple will release the new iPhones in 3 different colors – Gold, Silver and Space Gray. All different storage will be available and are priced at:
iPhone 6
- 16GB – RMB5,288 (RM2,816)
- 64GB – RMB6,088 (RM3,242)
- 128GB – RMB6,888 (RM3,668)
iPhone 6 Plus
- 16GB – RMB6,088 (RM3,242)
- 64GB – RMB6,888 (RM3,668)
- 128GB – RMB7,788 (RM4,148)
So, what about Malaysia launch? We can’t be too sure yet, but Maxis has just updated its #nextbigthing teaser page to show a toaster and a jar of apple jam; I don’t think the apple on the first teaser and in this teaser is just a coincidence. Along with the new teaser is a text that reads “Brace yourselves. Things are heating up…fast.”, so let’s keep our fingers crossed that the launch isn’t too far away.
