Ever since OnePlus One was revealed to the world earlier this year, it has received tremendous amount of attention from consumers throughout the world mainly due to its combination of premium specifications and low price tag. OnePlus even go as far as calling the device as the “2014 flagship killer“.
Even though OnePlus One is not officially available in Malaysia just yet, quite a number of users have already obtained the smartphone from oversea judging from the device’s thread in our forums but soon, you don’t have to go through extra steps in order to get your hands on the smartphone.
Why? Because OnePlus has confirmed that it is adding Malaysia to its official list of countries. In fact, the company is now in the process of setting up its operations in Malaysia.
This was confirmed by the career section on OnePlus official website which stated that the company is now looking for a General Manager to build and lead OnePlus operations in our market. The GM of Malaysia will apparently report directly to OnePlus HQ in Shenzhen, China.
Looking at the responsibilities and requirements that were stated on the listing, it seems like One Plus has big plans for Malaysia. Then again, we supposed the most important question that consumers are asking now is how soon they can officially can get theirs hand on OnePlus device in Malaysia.
Meanwhile, don’t forget to check out our initial hands-on experience with a prototype unit of OnePlus One right here to see what the smartphone is all about.
