Razer held a meet-and-greet event with Team Titan to celebrate the recent launch of the Razer Blade and Blade Pro. Aside from surprising visitors to the All-IT Hypermart in Ikano Power Centre with solo matches against the Dota 2 International finalists.
The community engagement event showed that Razer still has a large following in Malaysia, as close to 100 fans turned up to see the new Blade and meet their eSports heroes. While only Ohaiyo, Kyxy, and team captain Xtinct were in attendance, they were more than happy to provide autographs and take pictures with visitors. Razer had also provided a solo challenge against Titan, and the selected contestants who were able to beat the professional gamers would have walked away with amazing prizes. However, as nobody managed the feat, they remained unclaimed.
Also on display was the new range of Kraken Neon Headphones, which looked a little out of place with the bright neon rainbow colours standing out against the traditional Razer black and green. Not as noticeable were the Razer Nabu fitness bands that were being worn by members of the Razer staff who were mingling with the crowd. There wasn’t much time to sneak a proper look at the wearables, but they did look like something that can be worn without looking too out of place; even if the Nabu appears to be a little thicker and stiffer than other bands.
