Only about 13 hours more to go before Apple’s big event but say hello to more leaks for the next generation iPhones. China Mobile recently posted the full specifications for the 4.7” variant of the iPhone 6.
According to China Mobile, the 4.7” iPhone 6 will hit the market first on 19 September 2014, which confirms various rumors that are also pointing to the same release date. The Chinese telco is also saying that the iPhone 6 (4.7”) will come with storage options of up to 128GB, a rumor that we’ve been seeing for a good few weeks now.
As for the display, while some are saying that only the highest-end version – 128GB 5.5” iPhone 6, will be getting a Sapphire glass, China mobile is saying that every unit of the 4.7” iPhone 6 will pack a Sapphire glass on the main screen. We’ve seen various torture tests on a 4.7” front panel confirming that it’s a Sapphire glass so I guess China Mobile might be right this time. The screen resolution is 1134 x 750.

Other specs include 8MP rear camera, 2.1MP front camera, Apple A8 processor, iOS 8, Nano-SIM, 3 color options (silver, grey and gold), and surprisingly, “support for waterproof and dustproof” though, I wouldn’t take that too seriously.
Unfortunately, China Mobile did not mention anything with regards to the 5.5” iPhone 6, which is rumored to only be available at a later date. So, any of you staying up with us tonight to watch the Apple event?
